Homeopaths around the world are today celebrating the 250th birthday of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy (10.4.1755 - 2.7.1843). Born in Meissen, Germany Dr. Hahnemann became a successful physician, inventor, writer and translator of medical texts and the groundbreaking founder of a new school of medicine.
During his life-time he practiced medicine in many cities around Europe and finally left this mortal world in Paris, France at the age of 88 years. Dr. Samuel Hahnemann was a formidable advocate of truth, never accepting mediocrity and has been surrounded by controversy throughout his life. Homeopathy is still not free from this today.
In celebration of his birthday we have put a new article on our website, titled Why Homeopathy? Click here to read it.
